1. Company Information

Royal Turkish Schools is operated by RTS Royal Schools Dil Okulları Eğitim Danışmanlık Turizm Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a registered company in Turkey.

All courses are delivered in Istanbul and Izmir campuses or online.

2. Booking & Contract Formation

All bookings made via the website, email, or written application are considered valid.

A binding contract is formed once:

  • The booking is confirmed in writing by Royal Turkish Schools, and
  • The required payment has been received.

Royal Turkish Schools reserves the right to refuse any booking.

3. Course Structure

  • Each lesson is 45 minutes.
  • Face-to-face courses run Monday to Friday.
  • Maximum class size: 8 students.
  • Levels: A1 to C1 (CEFR).

A placement test may be required before or after booking. Royal Turkish Schools reserves the right to adjust class placement if necessary.

4. Online Courses

Online courses are conducted via Zoom or other approved digital platforms. Students are responsible for:

  • Having a stable internet connection
  • Access to suitable devices
  • Being available at the scheduled lesson time

Royal Turkish Schools is not responsible for interruptions caused by technical issues on the student’s side.

5. Face-to-Face Courses

Face-to-face courses start every Monday unless otherwise specified.

Missed lessons due to absence, lateness, or personal reasons are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

Royal Turkish Schools reserves the right to:

  • Combine classes
  • Change classroom allocation
  • Adjust schedules where necessary

6. Bildungsurlaub Program

  • Minimum 30 lessons per week
  • Maximum duration: 2 weeks
  • Available only in approved German federal states

Official attendance documentation is provided. Approval decisions are made solely by the relevant state authority. Royal Turkish Schools does not guarantee approval.

7. Payments

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card (via Iyzico)
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer

A non-refundable €50 registration fee applies to all bookings. Full payment is required to confirm enrollment unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Visa Support

For face-to-face students, Royal Turkish Schools can provide:

  • Enrollment Confirmation Letter
  • Course Confirmation Letter
  • Attendance Certificate

These documents are issued after booking confirmation and payment.

Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the relevant consulate or embassy. Royal Turkish Schools is not responsible for visa refusals.

9. Travel Health Insurance

For face-to-face students, Royal Turkish Schools may assist with arranging travel health insurance upon request. Insurance coverage and pricing depend on:

  • Age
  • Nationality
  • Duration of stay

Online students do not require insurance through Royal Turkish Schools.

10. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation more than 30 days before course start:

  • €300 cancellation fee

29–15 days before start:

  • 20% of total program fee

14–8 days before start:

  • 40% of total program fee

7–1 days before start:

  • 80% of total program fee

After the course has started, no refunds will be granted. The registration fee (€50) is non-refundable.

11. Termination After Course Start

Students wishing to terminate their course must give written notice. Tuition fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

12. Attendance & Certificates

A minimum of 70% attendance is required to receive a certificate of completion. Royal Turkish Schools reserves the right to withhold certification in case of insufficient attendance.

13. Conduct & Expulsion

Students must:

  • Respect Turkish laws
  • Respect school rules
  • Maintain appropriate behavior

Royal Turkish Schools reserves the right to expel students for serious misconduct. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

14. Media Consent

Photos, videos, and promotional material may only be used with explicit consent from the student.

15. Data Protection

Royal Turkish Schools processes personal data in accordance with applicable Turkish law (KVKK) and international data protection standards. For detailed information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Royal Turkish Schools’ liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the student for the relevant course.

17. Force Majeure

Royal Turkish Schools shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Public health emergencies
  • Travel restrictions

18. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed exclusively by Turkish law. The courts of Istanbul, Turkey shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
